Below are the exciting multimedia courses offered through our CTE pathway, each designed to give students hands-on experience, creative opportunities, and real-world skills that prepare them for future success.
Multimedia Productions
Students dive into the exciting world of digital multimedia creation! They learn to design and edit projects using images, videos, music, and interactive tools while exploring modern Esports and video-game technology. The class features hands-on practice with professional creative apps — including Unreal Engine 5, the same program used to build Fortnite — giving students a chance to bring their own gaming and digital media ideas to life.
Game Development & Animation
This course introduces students to animation and game design through artistic skill-building and cutting-edge software. They practice drawing and learn how animations move, build 3D models, create virtual worlds, and explore game development using programs like Google SketchUp, Twinmotion, Minecraft Worlds, and Unreal Engine’s Fortnite editor. Students gain real experience designing characters, environments, and cinematic scenes in the digital gaming and animation world.
TV Studio Broadcast Production
Students take on real roles inside a professional-style TV studio, learning everything from camera operation and lighting to audio engineering, directing, script writing, editing, and using a teleprompter. Working in broadcast crews, they plan, film, and produce live multi-weekly newscasts, rotating through different positions to understand the full process of running a news studio. This course builds teamwork, communication, media production skills, and professionalism in a real broadcast environment.
